In high school, I decided I wanted to start spreading positivity when I saw others around me as well as myself struggle with mental health. From there, I decided to start a blog. Once I entered college, I took that to the next step by creating a Christian business called Love Like Christ Co. While working on this, I was a part of an entrepreneurship program at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University. My Christian business with the goal of sharing Christ's love as positivity included a social media page, handmade cross bracelets for purchase, and a devotional that I wrote called 15 Days of Godly Friendships (which is still available for purchase if you contact me). During my junior year, as I was still working on Love Like Christ Co, I started coaching dance at Melrose Area High School. As a dancer from the cities, I immediately noticed the lack of proper technical training for dance in that area. To solve this issue, I started Chosen Dance Training by hosting pop-up classes and private lessons. The fall of my senior year, I kicked off my company with weekly ballet classes which had never been offered before in the area. During that time as I was approaching graduation, I decided what I wanted to do with my Communication major and entrepreneurship experience was real estate. I now proudly work as a realtor and dance studio owner / teacher to serve the central Minnesota area with my gifts.
